The Annual Metabolic Holiday Party took place on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Family Life Center Skate Rink. Around 120 people were in attendance; including patients, siblings, caregivers to those with metabolic disorders, metabolic hospital staff, ANPAD volunteers, and sponsors. Families got to interact while skating, visiting Santa, and eating low protein snacks. Families brought low protein recipes and their favorite low protein snack to share. Raffle prizes, including tools to help manage the diet, were given away. The party was great for family networking, dietary support, fundraising, and moral boosting.
